This the promo video for this newly released Cutters 12″. Watch the bullet train making it’s maiden voyage. And of course no ride on the bullet train is complete without the perfect musical accompaniment of Das Moth’s Moon. Having watched this a few times, I’m particularly loving the ‘jacko-esque’ white gloved train driver. Now that’s a job you’d want to have. So as the title says… let’s ride!

You just wouldn’t write a weird piano melody, put it through all your distortion pedals then write an epic post-disco jam around it. Basically that doesn’t work… or at least shouldn’t… But Das Moth (aka: Tokyo-dwelling DJ, producer and punk bassist Tim Sullivan) has provided us with proof to the contrary in his debut 12″ release featuring ‘Moon’ and the aptly titled ‘Wrong’. Yes it works, and it’s genius. We wont do any more head-scratching on how to describe this release, except to say that the vinyl is an absolute ‘must have’, also featuring proto-house workout from heavyweights Kink & Neville Watson. The 12″ is OUT NOW from JUNO and PHONICA, go get it! For those holding out for the digital release - it’s due later in the month.
