In late 2007 Knightlife stormed onto the scene with his debut 12″ delivering two house cuts that shook the subs and in turn, people’s asses at clubs across australia and europe. Since then, he’s kept busy, delivering a string of impeccable remixes for the likes of Midnight Juggernauts, Bag Raiders, Alex Gopher (and ah… us) and deejaying across the globe.

It’s tough being a wunderkind, I mean, just look at Corey Haim… So what do you do when you’ve proven you can match it with dance music’s elite at just the tender age of 22? Well, in Knightlife’s case he’s refined his swordcraft and returned with a new 12″ EP featuring the pulsing synth disco gem ‘crusader‘, charged with bass energy and enough cowbell to make ‘funkytown’ look like ‘boring-town’. ‘Crusader’ glides between luscious breakdowns and four-on-the-floor stomp with a heart-stopping energy that is bound to make this a favorite for dancefloors and deejays alike.
On the flip, is ‘Discotirso‘ - a staccato aerobic workout to rival paris’ best, and a lush piano-led reinterpretation of Knightlife’s ‘All Systems‘ by Cutters favorite and ‘ex-Riot in belgium’ producer under his new moniker Nile Delta.

Knightlife II is like a time capsule that comes simultaneously from the past and the future, laiden with visceral robot funk groove in equal proportion to time honoured disco craft. The knight has returned: join him or be destroyed.
