The Miracles Club

A west-coast US group, propelled by a love of Chicago acid house and experimental pop? Hmm… Sounds suspiciously like a perfect addition to Cut Copy’s deejay playlist. So then it should come as no surprise that it’s actually a description of Cutters Records’ exciting new signing, The Miracles Club.

Having quickly emerged as instigators in Portland, Oregon’s underground dance music community, members Rafael Fauria, Honey Owens and Ryan Boyle fuse elements of classic Chicago acid house, world music, left-field pop and contemporary dance. Their infectious transmissions and live happenings have energized Portland’s current Madchester style explosion of club music mutations.
Having released an their debut EP through Mexican Summer last year, they have joined the Cutters fold and return with a vibrant 12″ and digital EP, featuring international reworkings of their psychedelic house jam, ‘Light of Love’ by Cut Copy, New York’s Neurotic Drum Band and Ulysses plus new anthem, ‘So Hot‘.
